Terms of Service
Draft. These terms have not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and must be finalised before this platform is used with real funds.
1. What this service is
Flashpad is an interface to a set of public, immutable smart contracts. It lets you create tokens and trade them on a decentralised exchange. Flashpad operates the interface. It does not take custody of your funds, does not execute trades on your behalf, and cannot move, freeze or reverse anything on chain.
2. No custody, no control
You transact directly from your own wallet. You are solely responsible for your keys. Lost keys mean lost funds, and nobody, including us, can recover them.
3. No endorsement
Token creation is permissionless. We do not review, approve or endorse any token, and listing on this interface is not a recommendation. See Risks.
4. Your responsibilities
You confirm that using this service is lawful where you are, that you are not subject to sanctions, and that you meet any age requirement that applies to you. You may not use the service to launder money, to defraud anyone, to impersonate a person or organisation, or to infringe anyone’s rights.
5. Content you submit
You are responsible for the token names, images, descriptions, links, profile details and comments you submit. We may remove off-chain content from this interface at our discretion, including content that is abusive, deceptive or infringing. Removing content from the interface does not and cannot alter anything on chain.
6. Fees
Trades on platform markets pay a trading fee, disclosed in full before you sign. Network gas is paid to the network. Fee parameters may change for future launches; the terms of an existing launch are fixed on chain at creation and are never changed retroactively.
7. No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Blockchains, smart contracts, wallets and node providers can fail, lag or behave unexpectedly.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flashpad is not liable for trading losses, for the conduct of token creators or other users, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
These terms may change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
